 i Bangyao(1954, Wuhan)'s art keeps a calm and rational temperament, which“highlighted the integrated thinking for the history of development from the ancient to the future.” Graduated with bachelor degree from the crafts and arts(commercial design) department of Hubei Academy Fine Arts, Li Bangyao became the organizer of “Tribe, Tribe” in 1980s and joined 85'new wave of arts. It was the year of 1992 Li Bangyao finished his famous Product Trust. The visual inspection of consumer culture was his most important theme of his work over the past decade.
Li Bangyao now works as the professor of the fine arts department of the South China Normal University. |
