en Xiaolin(1963, Beijing) graduated from Sichuan Fine Art Institute in 1986, he then teached art at Guizhou Normal University. Despite the fact that the content of his work usually suppresses the sophistication of his technique, he is an accomplished oil painter. His works are an extraordinary mixture of fantasy, eroticism and humanism. Rather than conveying his message through specific imagery, Ren does it through the use of colors and texture of his paintings.
He now lives and works in Beijing. See Ideas . |
